Robert Atkenson, M.D. on Superpath Hip Replacement

"I believe the superpath hip technique will come to be known as a landmark acheivement in total hip surgery and one day represent the standard of care for all hip replacement operations. Its uncompromising tissue sparing nature makes it unique among all minimally invasive procedures. There are no implant choice or postoperative patient activity restrictions. Working with my brother Dr. Paul Atkenson, a board certified orthopedic surgeon gives us a distinctive advantage over other orthopedic practices. Our patients are on their feet within 3-4 hours following the operation and typically discharged from the hospital within 12 to 24 hours."
